Another Renaissance Festival where Cast in Bronze will be playing. Being all the way up in the frozen North, I know nothing about the festival itself, but it should be as fun as any RenFest I've ever been to: if CIB is playing, that alone will make it worth the trip. Take a drive, enjoy the weather and the festival, and be sure to catch at least one performance of the bells - you'll be glad you did.

Cast in Bronze

"The Bells"

This is my opportunity to take a small part in promoting something both intrinsically valuable and also dear to me personally. "The Bells" is a musical stage production written by Frank DellaPenna, the creator of Cast in Bronze and my mentor. I first learned of the project last year and have been privileged to hear some of the music as it was being written and to read a rough draft of book as well. It's a marvelous story and the music is unbelievable. Frank has not only written the story and music and performed the show before an audience with a volunteer cast, he is also currently working to have this production placed on the stage within the year. The date and location of the premier will be announced as soon as they're settled upon - I'd suggest signing up with the Cast in Bronze fan club to keep abreast of this information.

The c.d. "The Bells" is now available, and can be ordered now at www.castinbronze.com. In addition, the book "The Bells" is available on the C.I.B. web site. I urge all of my guests to check out the web site and support this magnificent effort in any way possible - the excellence and heart behind this production is something truly unique, and it deserves our help to succeed.
